Relationship problems are the root cause of many social problems.

A generation of children are at great risk for poverty, alienation, and antisocial behavior due to the breakdown of the family structure.

Research has shown that children who grow-up in stable nurturing environments achieve more, and live more fulfilling lives.

Training in Imago Dialogue

In Sri Lanka, Imago helps train villagers to provide counseling to their neighbors.

By helping families build stronger relationships...

......we can directly address the root-cause of many social problems.

Imago is creating partnerships with agencies which serve low-income families, so that we can train counselors to teach dialogue skills to these families, and help them to build stronger relationships.

We also provide scholarships for low-income couples to attend our weekend workshops.

We rely on donations for these projects and would welcome your support.

Imago faculty

Imago has raised funds to help therapists in Russia train in Imago. Financial difficulties mean that so many Russian families are struggling to stay together

The Imago Peace Project

The Dalai Llama has proposed a century of dialogue, rather than war. We’re honored that Imago dialogue has been chosen by organizations around the world to help them in their work.

The Imago Peace Project has used dialogue to help create understanding between groups divided by conflict – including Palestinians and Israelis, and Hutu’s and Tutsi’s.

Imago in Sri Lanka

Imago Relationships International has made a $10,000 grant to Heart Circle Sangha for their work with Sarvodaya in Sri Lanka. The principles of Imago dialogue are being taught to Sri Lanka villagers.

This enables them to be more effective providing trauma relief when they return to villages devastated by civil war and the tsunami.  Some of these women have now being trained as counselors, and Imago revisited Sri Lanka to provide Imago training for in couple's therapy
