Contributions from the Imago Community
By Tim Atkinson
This month we get a break! And we certainly could do with one after the conference in Atlanta. What’s really nice is that several of you have stepped up to the plate, and written Imago World for us.
We offer these articles to you simply in a spirit of creating sharing in the Imago community. This is just what your colleagues wish to share with you, and we welcome your contributions for future issues in the same spirit. We hope you enjoy them, and find them useful in your work.
In this issue, Joe Kort writes about his experience of using Imago with sexually addicted couples. Joe is well known for his book “10 Smart Things Gay Men Can Do to Improve Their Lives”; Joanne Fleisher shares some of the insights from her book “Living Two Lives”, which helps married women who are awakening to their attraction to other women; Sylvia Rosenfeld is both an Imago Therapist and Certified Sex Therapist, and shares with us how she uses Imago to address sexual issues. We’re also excited to include Ron Clark’s account of his adventure with bringing Imago to Uganda.
We’re very grateful to Joe, Joanne, Sylvia, and Ron for taking the time to share their thoughts with you, and help make our Imago World a little closer. |
